However, I encourage you to give the following sites a try as you never know what you may discover or what connections you may make from a simple email or application. You can expect a 0.5 to 1.0% response rate from people who receive your application/CV.
OpcionEmpleo:
CareerJet.com is owned and operated by the same people.
Indeed:
In Colombia, Indeed.com is the equivalent of the U.S. job search site Indeed.com.
ZonaJobs:
Hundreds of middle to upper class jobs can be found on this site, which has a pretty interface.
CompuTrabajo:
Computrabajo has a terrible interface, as I discussed in my post on Panama jobs. The job selection is better than the appearance of the site, which is a good thing.
El Empleo:
There are Colombian job postings on this job search engine at all levels.
Learn4Good:
There are a number of levels of jobs available on Learn4Good’s job portal.
Olx:
In addition to being a giant classifieds site, Olx is also a search engine. The site offers job opportunities, but not all of them appear to be legitimate. Please take note.
Alamaula:
Colombian classifieds site Alamaula is very popular.
ESL Employment:
This website doesn’t have the prettiest interface, but who needs that when there’s so much opportunity to teach English?
Total ESL:
There are many job postings for teaching jobs abroad on this website, but the interface is overly busy.
ESL Cafe:
A great collection of job openings is compiled by Dave from around the world.
Tesall:
This site aggregates a lot of teaching jobs.
Transitions Abroad:
An excellent list of Latin American English teachers.
Michael Page:
My past experience with an international executive recruitment website. A high-end job seeker is the target audience for this site.
Overseas Jobs:
Other sites and this site often have a lot in common, especially in terms of postings. Despite that, this website has existed for a long time.
Go Abroad:
My love for GoAbroad goes back a long way. You can find a link to their global embassies directory on the visa information section of my website. Their job portal is also good.
Linkedin:
Last but not least, this huge professional network is a great place to network with professionals in your field.
